#1. Sell Your Own Stuff at Amazon Handmade

Amazon has launched its ‘Amazon Handmade’ service where you can sell your handmade products to the Amazon audience.

If you are good at making jewelry, candles, party suppliers, furniture or anything that you think may attract people’s attention, then go sell it on this giant market.

For each purchase, this platform charges you just at 12% of the product’s selling price. Isn’t that amazing? I think it is a great way to find potential buyers without going through all the trouble of setting up an office and doing all the marketing, besides other management work.

It also gives you the flexibility to choose your own production timing once an order is made. This time generally goes up to a convenient 30 days. The best thing is that you don’t even need the product UPCs and professional photos of the product.

  1. Agreed that Amazon is great for selling stuff – it’s way better than eBay. On the downside I sold a valuable DVD boxset on there and didn’t remember to get a postal receipt. Anyway, the buyer then claimed they never received the parcel and Amazon reversed my commission.

I’m never posting anything to Portsmouth, England ever again…
