Small businesses and enterprises can use NAKIVO Backup & Replication to guarantee data recoverability, minimize downtime and ensure business continuity in case of a disruption or a disaster.

Reliable Backups

With a single deployment of the NAKIVO solution, you can protect various environments including: VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Director, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon EC2, Nutanix AHV, Linux/Windows physical machines, Microsoft 365, file shares, Oracle database.

Backups and backup copies can be sent to local repositories, cloud storage, S3-compatible storage, tape (including VTL), deduplication appliances and other detachable devices.

This allows you to eliminate a single point of failure in case a disaster impacts your primary site and ensures data recoverability following any disruption.

Flexible Recovery Options

NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides several recovery options that you can choose from depending on your needs. You can perform Flash VM Boot to run virtual machines directly from compressed and deduplicated backups, without recovering the entire VM.

You can also restore entire physical machines directly to bare metal, and perform cross-platform recovery or physical-to-virtual (P2V) recovery. Some editions also offer direct recovery from tape storage.

To save time and reduce the load on your network, you can also perform granular recovery to restore individual files, folders or application objects to their original or to custom locations.

Disaster Recovery Planning

You can create automated disaster recovery workflows using the Site Recovery feature in NAKIVO Backup & Replication. You can include up to 200 actions in a single job, including failover, failback, start/stop VMs and instances, run script, attach or detach repository and more.

You can arrange actions and conditions into a single algorithm that is automatically launched when you need it. Disaster recovery orchestration allows you to minimize downtime and data loss in any disruptive scenario.

IT Monitoring

The built-in monitoring tool in the NAKIVO solution provides complete oversight over your IT infrastructure. You can continuously check the performance of your components to improve resource distribution.

The monitoring dashboard displays information related to CPU, memory and disk usage of virtual machines, hosts and datastores.

You can manually select the items you want to monitor within your inventory and add them according to specific policies.

Multi-Tenant Mode

The multi-tenant mode helps managed services providers (MSPs) to streamline their workflows and optimize resource use across different departments or customers.

With a single instance of NAKIVO Backup & Replication, MSPs can create up to 1,000 isolated tenants and offload data protection tasks to them. This allows MSPs to offer powerful backup-as-a-service (BaaS) and disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS).

The dedicated MSP Console displays tenant information and provides a centralized view of all tenant activities.
