Buyer Beware. Nexcess is no longer the great web hosting company they once were.

Nexcess was once an outstanding hosting company. I became a customer in 2017 and moved many of our agency client sites and owned/operated properties over to the hosting provider. In 2019, Nexcess was acquired by Liquid Web. I am not sure if that is when the changes began, but in recent months it has become tremendously apparent to me that the customer support is completely outsourced and the level of care offered to customers is minimal at best. Backup system is terrible but support is good.

Their support is really good, and they respond in minutes, Their backup system takes forever to backup and sometimes freezes. They once told me it could take days for the backup to work. If it weren’t for the backup system, I would recommend this hosting platform. Hosting our client websites at scale.
